LAUREN'S KID KASTLE
Lauren's Kid Kastle is a exceptionally operated child care home. The children engage in a variety of developmentally appropriate, scheduled, learning activities each day.
Mission Statement
At Lauren's Kid Kastle Child Care, we strive to deliver the best early childhood experience possible for your family. We will achieve our goals by including the following as necessary and important components of our program.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT
Parent communication and involvement is welcomed and encoraged as a core attribute of our program. Parents are made aware daily of their child's activities and meals. Parent conferences are held periodically.
Parents are always welcome at our childcare. We have an open door policy; parents are welcome anytime during business hours. Please feel free to join in the fun!! Additionally, many family events, holiday parties and field trips will be planned throughout the year. Attending these family events gives parents the opportunity to observe their child with his/her friends and develop friendships with the other parents.
COMMUNICATION
Effective communication between the parent and the child’s child care provider is essential to the child’s educational success. We will always listen to your questions, concerns and comments. Please feel free to approach any staff member at any time. Conferences will also be scheduled during the year to discuss and plan your child’s program and progress.
DEVELOPMENTAL ENVIRONMENT
Your child will be provided with numerous activities and equipment to enhance his/her natural curiosity and development. He/she will be encouraged to explore and freely discover the world in our safe, child-oriented environment.
PLANNED CURRICULUM AND THEMES
We will provide a planned, theme-based curriculum to help your child develop cognitively and prepare for elementary school.
CONTINUED EDUCATION
Lauren Jackson has received many credits for her attendance at early childhood conferences and classes through Western Michigan University as well as local child care agencies.
Lauren has also assisted teaching other child care providers through classes offered at the Michigan Extension Service.
Each of Lauren's Kid Kastle staff members will continue their education through early childhood classes and conferences. We vow to keep our staff and our childcare parents up to date on early childhood information. All staff is certified each year in CPR and First Aid.
