Description:
Hello, my name is Sarah and I've been working in group daycare on Base, however, I will be going back to home daycare for several reasons. I feel that home daycare is much more personal, and you get to know the parents and children much better. I feel that each child can be given more direct attention in a smaller scale daycare as opposed to group daycare. Since each child develops at a different rate, you are better able to meet each child's needs in home daycare. There are LESS GERMS in home daycare!! Home daycare is much more stable and consistent for children and therefore I feel is much more beneficial at a young age.
I am CPR and First Aid certified, and have taken several classes in child development, child psychology, children's literature, crucial infant and toddler development, and much more. I have cared for newborns (including twins while they were still on heart monitors), toddlers, school aged children, all they way up to pre-teens, and have done group daycare, hourly daycare, and one on one childcare(Nanny). ALSO, I have went through the extensive background check that you must go through when you work in childcare on base as well as all the application criteria, shots, food safety courses, and trainings that they require. I am a very caring person and will treat your child as part of my own family while they are at my home. I believe that every child should be loved and given the right tools so that they can thrive in life, and really, I just love children! It's that simple. I want the best for each and every child no matter what age.
I know that it must be hard as a parent to try to decide where your precious little one will be cared for, and I would be happy to provide you with a list of references and further qualifications as well as answer any question and address concerns that you may have. I will be offering home daycare to children from the ages of newborn to 4 years old (five if they have not yet begun school). This can be either weekly or hourly care and both will be very affordable.
